An evergreen small medium tree with glossy leaves and small orange fruits that open to reveal vibrant, glossy, orange-red seeds.

Category / Uses: excellent for attracting birds into the garden and makes an ideal shade or shelter tree.

Position: prefers a sunny to partly shaded position in humus rich, moist, well drained soil. Cultivate soil before planting. Dig hole twice the width of the container. Remove plant from container and place into the hole so the soil level is the same as the surrounding ground.

Care: mulch to conserve soil moisture and to suppress weeds. Frost tender.
